Description

There are 156 nodes within the militarized interstate dispute dataset. Edges are undirected and are defined as instances of when one state threatened, displayed, or used force directed towards the government, official representatives, official forces, property, or territory of another state.

Results

USA, UK, France, Russia, and Turkey are some of the most central nodes within the dataset. Whereas Tunisia, Kosovo, Jamaica, Sri Lanka, and Nepal are the lowest central nodes. The network density is low (.11) with not many actual connections despite the portion of potential connections. With a centralization score of .36, ties of the network aren’t too concentrated on a group of actors.
